There were loads of thistle flowers in this field, but all bees were fighting for a spot on these two. Must’ve been particularly tasty! Or do they follow some kind of ‘the busiest restaurants are the best ones’ logic?

No, no, they tell their friends and relatives which flowers taste best. You know, like :”you should try these two, there’s just a hint of oregano and a lick of tarragon in them, it’s delicious!”. Bees are connoisseurs, I think. 🙂

Thank you! This is a globe thistle, we have milk thistles too.. And maybe more kinds that I don’t know (yet) 🙂

There’s not much about me , am who I am ..lol..dutch..Not far o a.dam and visited often but too crowded for my likes.Rhenen(the Grebbeberg-Ouwehands Zoo) 40 min.o Utrecht and got the rivers and the woods 🙂

Never been there but sounds nice! 🙂 I grew up in Sweden, and sometimes I miss the nature there.. The lakes, forests and wildlife.. But Amsterdam’s great in so many other ways!!

I have only seen Sweden in pictures and have to agree , nature is brilliant…I would like to do a day o street photography in Amsterdam but am not sure if I’ll be brave enough..;-)
