2018-40
This changing season ~ Photos made with my Fuji X-T2 and a Pentax-a 50mm lens I found in my parent’s storage, it’s from the late 80’s I think. It’s a very nice and compact little lens; it’s built in metal but only weights 145 grams. I love the bubbly bokeh when shot wide at f2 ๐
Wow that is a cool effect. Is it so distinctive because of this particular lens? Great shots anyway ๐

Many thanks as always Tony! ๐ The soap bubble bokeh effect can be achieved with most lenses with a shallow depth of field. But some (old) lenses have particularly beautiful bokeh, I think!

That is fabulous bokeh, lots of autumn scenes to come, nice shots.

Very, very nice!! Lovely colours and composition. I must look in my mumโs stuff to see if she has any old lenses๐๐

Thanks so much John! ๐ In case you donโt find any in your mumโs stuff you can find these on eBay for around ยฃ 20!

Another new/old lens?? Wow, that’s cool, Camilla. These are very nice. I like the way the first image features the dry seedhead but has that wet, bubbly bokeh in the background – quite a contrast. Did you have an adapter already that fits this lens?

Thanks a lot Lynn! I got a bunch of lenses from my parentโs storage! And ordered an adapter online, so now Iโm good to go ๐
