Smile! The world is a beautiful place (^_^)

2018-24

Hi ๐Ÿ™‚ Questions to fellow photographers: What’s your favorite thing to photograph, and what do you photograph most? My favorites are probably butterflies and moths, but what I photograph most (i.e. every day) are my cats and random street scenes.

Here are this week’s photos-

(i) My cat Tonje, photographed with Fujifilm X-T1 and 60 mm macro lens

  2. My favorite thing to photograph, so far, has been dragonflies. If you check out my blog page or instagram (@itsme_allanp) you can find a few dragonfly pics.

    • Yes, dragonflies and damselflies are some of my favorites too ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. No points for guessing mine! Love that cat.

  4. Cute pics! ๐Ÿ™‚
My favs are any animal (especially little ones) conducive to macro. Plants are nice too but animals (like insects, spiders, and frogs) are my favorites. I probably photograph damselflies the most, because we live on a river and there are tons of them everywhere.

    • Thanks so much, Tom! ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh how nice, I wish I could say damselflies too!!

  5. My favourite thing to photograph is trains and other forms of transport. The thing I photograph most is football (I work as a volunteer for my local football club). I enjoy a bit of most other types of photography ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I wouldnโ€™t have guessed! You take so many different kinds of photographs and youโ€™re so good at all of them ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I suspect that you already know my answer to your question–my favorite thing to photograph is dragonflies and this time of the year that’s what I photograph the most. In the “off-season” I photography mostly birds.

    • No surprise there, Mike! I love your dragonfly (and birds too) shots, itโ€™s so nice to see the different species you have as well ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Nice photos. I photograph a lot of sunrises and sunsets. I live at a lake and we get some beautiful ones. I also like to catch unusual cloud formations.

    • Thanks so much! I can imagine you have a nice view then! I like to photograph unusual cloud formations too ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Wow,l that is one fabulous photo of your sweet Tonje. Beautiful! My favorite thing to photograph is any plant outdoors, especially flowers, but so much more – leaves, ferns, trees, lichens. I think you know this! ๐Ÿ˜‰ What I photograph most? The same, I think. I’d like to do more architecture/cityscape/industrial subjects, but I’m not in the right place for that so often. We’re about to move about an hour north of here, where there will be just as many outdoor opportunities, but possibly also more semi-industrial ones. We will see!

    • Thanks so much, Lynn! ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes of course I knew your favorites already, but the industrial part was news. I havenโ€™t done it much, but I have a thing for photographing abandoned places/buildings, I hope I get to do more of that.
Good luck with your move ๐Ÿ™‚ Exciting times ahead!
