  3. Stunning, the last in particular. Maybe it’s because here in the middle of Canada open water is a dream these days😊

    • Thanks! And here we are, dreaming of snow and ice.. It’s so much fun to ice skate on the Amsterdam canals, but it’s been years since that was possible.

  7. A light show with a difference! The structures look like paper, very creative.

    • Thanks Jane! Most are made if plastic and steel, but in the dark (and from a distance) they indeed look papery. 🙂

  10. Wow, beautiful lights! And those green pigs!! 😅 I often feel the river in Amsterdam is a little bit like the one in Norwich where I live – at least on central city view of it is. I’m sure someone made sure to copy aspects of the river in Amsterdam when they developed the roads, houses and walkways around the river in the Victorian era. It’s nowhere near as impressive, but feels like a miniature copy. Love those floating cubes on the river… really lights it up beautifully at night!

    • Thanks Suzy! The green pigs artwork was my favourite as well! I’ve never been to Norwich (although I lived in a street called ‘Norwich Road’ once 😉 ) but if it’s anything like Amsterdam it must be very pretty!

      • Oh, what a coincidence… Norwich Road!! 😀 It is a pretty city, but it has it’s ugly bits too! I’d love to visit Amsterdam. Just the name Amsterdam, always sounds very inviting to me.. maybe one day I’ll get to see it. 🙂
