Smile! The world is a beautiful place (^_^)

blood

I got up at 3am this morning to photograph the super blood moon

My trusty PS and I did our best, but alas didn’t get any clear shot… But it was thrilling to see anyway!

The next opportunity to see this will be in 2033.

  1. You got some wonderful blood-red color here, I’d say! I took lots of shots as the eclipse moved across the moon, but none with this deep color.

    • Thanks! It seemed more red in reality but it was really hard to capture it with the camera..

We saw it last night through binoculars and later I saw a most fantastic shooting star! Magical! 🙂

  8. I had this too, with a bit of noise, but I like how it shows the texture. So many people were out enjoying this phenomenon, a friendly atmosphere out on the streets as people took photos or watched. Quite fascinating and enjoy seeing your photo. Thanks for sharing.

  11. It was quite the experience to watch it all and we had the convenience of seeing it in the evening without having to get up at 3 am!

    • Lucky you! Did you take any pictures? I’d love to see a good, unfaked picture of the eclipse!

      • We got home after the full eclipse but I got some photos after that. I might slip one into my next post. It’s even a real moon!

  12. Camilla, you did better than I did. I love the color you caught. My husband recently surprised me with a PowerShot SX60 HS, so I’m learning how to use it now.
