Beautiful photo. I like the capture of the Wagtail. The power shot was the right lens for the time and place.

Thanks Yvonne! Yes, the PS is so handy- I was far away from the bird, the picture isn’t very sharp but still ok. 🙂

A sharp photo is not necessary for any photo to be a good one. The photo of the Wagtail is excellent in my humble opinion even if it’s not tack sharp. It’s the total essence of the pic that makes it appealing. Just my two cents worth. 🙂

You really have a way with birds! They seem to pose for you… 🙂

Thanks Rebecca! I wish that was true! I spend a lot of time trying to get some decent shots.. Most of the time, the birds just fly away when I’m close enough to get a good shot! But sometimes I’m lucky 🙂

I am so glad that you are lucky – fabulous captures!!

A favorite bird. You know they fly all the way from North Africa to breed in Scandinavia.

It’s a cute little bird, and I like them because they’re not shy and willing to sit still so one has time to photograph them. 😉 The bird migrations never cease to amaze me!
