I am so partial to reds to like that. I wish we had the opportunity to see that here. Beautiful.

Beautifiul picture. The Japanease maple is grown as an ornamental tree here in my area of Texas. In the Fall it eventually turns the brilliant red that you have captured so well in your photo. The little tree reaches to about 20 feet maybe and is very slow growing. I’n not sure why I never planted one but the cost of a 4-5 ft tree is around $100 or more.

Thanks Yvonne! I took this picture in a Japanese garden, but I have a small one on my balcony as well. 🙂

Love that red. Colors are fading fast for us at this time of year and I love to see photos with color so bright and cheery.

Thanks Mike! Colours are fading fast here as well, so I “cheated” by taking a picture of a tree this Japanese maple, it was the only tree with bright colours. 😉

Thanks Mark! It’s not nearly as good as yours, but I did try to keep some of your tips in mind when I shot it. 🙂
