I absolutely love that image. I’ve been wanting to see and photograph a Snowy Owl for years, to no avail. They occasionally drift down into this region but I’m never in the right place at the right time. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much, Nick! I used to see many owls when out horseback riding in the forests but now when I’m out with my camera looking for them, they’re really difficult to find.. The good thing with Snowy Owls is that they’re active during the day, more fun than finding a sleeping owl in a tree. 😉

Yes! Found her in a forest nearby a zoo, not sure if she’d escaped from there or if she’d traveled this far south (they rarely do). Anyway, was a nice find! 🙂
