These ducklings are adorable! I like how the light colors in the water match the light coloring in the ducklings.

I noticed that too! But have no idea where the yellow in the water came from, I didn’t see it when I took the picture. 🙂 Hugs Wendy

It’s great to celebrate a new lens with a good photo. Nice all the way around. Hope you enjoy it.
Thanks Lyle! I takes a bit of getting used to, but so far I’m pretty pleased with it. 🙂

That’s good. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting new lenses but I’m a bit of a gear junkie.

I used to have an EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM lens, which is probably a better lens but I never used it so sold it to a friend.. I might be only one who have changed to the 70-300mm instead of the other way around 😉 But I like that it’s black, smaller, lighter!

You have find what works for you. The extra reach is nice and the true test of a lens is whether you use it.

Wonderful shot. I haven’t yet seen any ducklings this spring ( so I am a little jealous). Glad to see you are enjoying the new lens. My telephoto zoom got a good workout this winter photographing birds.

Thanks Mike! I’ve been watching your frog, dragonfly and other pictures with envy 😉 These little ducklings are the first “spring animals” I’ve seen here. Hopefully more soon!
