  2. This is the loveliest barb wire I’ve ever seen! Good choice of title! It is so festive looking… perfect to get me in the mood for shopping with my daughter today… (she loves to shop…)

    • Thanks, sweet Wendy! It also looks a bit like the things you decorate Christmas trees with, but I don’t know the English word for that so I went with “barbed wire”.. πŸ™‚

  3. I looked at the photo before I saw your comment and thought, “gee that plant looks just like barbed wire.” I am very familiar with barbed wire. I grew up on a farm and had to climb through, over, and sometimes under barbed wire fences. And open and close gates made out of posts and barbed wire. The gate would fold onto itself and to the ground when it was opened and then you had to pick it back up and drag it back to the large post to secure the gate/gap back in place. I can still see those gaps in mind for we had many on the farm.

I liked this photo a lot.

    • Thanks Yvonne! I used to have horses so I’ve also had some close encounters with barbed wire.. Don’t like it at all! But the natural version is quite nice.. πŸ˜‰

      • I had 2 mares many years ago and they both lived to be about 30 plus. Was not sure of the oldest ones age. I had no idea barbed wire was used all over. I should have known that.

  15. The frost photos are beautiful – can I ask whether you used a tripod, or were they hand held?
