I’ve recently started a new website where photographers can post photos they are willing to allow non-profits to use. If you’re interested in participating, check it out at photodonors.wordpress.com.

  17. Nice picture, what is your secret for capturing birds? Every time I try by the time I am all set up they have flown off, or moved out of focus.

    November 8, 2012 at 5:47 PM

    • Thanks Bren! I have no other secret than Patience.. Especially these small ones, they’re so quick and doing that “now you see me, now you don’t” thing all the time! Try and try again… πŸ™‚

      November 8, 2012 at 5:49 PM

      • My other half, can capture them in flight, but me no way are they going to stay still.. Think I will stick to the flowers and leave him to the birds..:D

        November 8, 2012 at 5:54 PM

        • Me too, I haven’t tried to photograph one in flight, I struggle enough with the ones sitting still. πŸ™‚
