A braver person would’ve gotten a much better shot of this cross spider*..ย  But this was as close as I dared to go.
*a.k.a. European garden spider, diadem spider, or cross orbweave

    • Thanks! I don’t know why I’m so afraid, they’re not dangerous (not the ones we have over here at least). And the webs are beautiful ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Those are green-turning-yellow leaves, glowing in the sun.

  5. Haha. I see what you mean. This is hard to photograph anyway because you have a dark subject against a very bright background. Did you try to use any fill flash?
